So how can I say this? Grateful, grateful, thank God I'm grateful!!! Joseph Migliaccio and his team did an amazing honor to my family and myself. After 20 years of service in the military and lots more reasons to desire settling down I decided it was time to purchase a final home. Not just any home, but the home that completely fitted the needs of a single father of 3 boys, with 80% disability (all combat related), who also work full-time in the construction industry. I did as many in my position does and went directly to a so called "Veteran Friendly" mortgage company to use my VA benefits and receive a loan. I'm not going to use that company's name, but let's just call them the guy's who claim to be united behind our cause and struggle. Lol Anyways, that veteran's company was all about the presentation... the easy and pretty package. Do I believe the loan officer I had representing me was sincere? Yes... however, a combat vet, who is more than qualified, earning more than enough money, could not get a loan simply because I am a contractor, and my work history doesn't seem stable. And then they had the audacity to blame it on the VA. This is what my denial letter read. My realtor, Fadi Zarka pulled me to the side and said, Mike, I've never heard this before and I'm going ask another company that I truly trust if they can get this deal for you. He was like, I can't guarantees anything. I said, Fadi... please, save this deal. He contacted Joe Migliaccio at Mortgage One. Joe contacted me directly that same day. He was so fired up, his energy alone, completely replenished my hopes. Joe was extremely thorough, and regular contact was not extreme, yet never distant.
